Summary
Lead Team Member. Helps train other TMs and may perform the same work as other TMs: a variety of warehouse duties including forklift operation, inventory control, receiving and shipping to ensure accurate and safe shipment of goods to and from the customer.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and lead the team’s daily operations.
- Unpack, repack, and place items.
- Use tools and visual aids to confirm quantities of freight being received and shipped.
- Operate a forklift and/or crane for loading and unloading.
- Operate other machines for production or processing, such as a scan gun.
- Inspect product before shipping.
- Clean work area according to 5S standards.
- Enter production data into basic spreadsheet systems.
- Follow approved procedures and precautions.
- Assist in providing a safe environment for all employees.
- Maintain paperwork of incoming and outgoing products.
- Participate in team meetings and training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED and 3–6 months of related experience.
