Training Development & Execution
  • Create and maintain high‑quality, up‑to‑date training materials, job aids, and standardized work documents for the assigned area.
  • Deliver TWI Job Instruction (JI) and support structured on‑the‑job training for new hires, cross‑training, and upskilling efforts.
  • Mentor and evaluate local job coaches, building frontline training capability across all shifts.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and take proactive action to maintain consistency and compliance with best practices.
Operational & Technical Engagement
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using appropriate tools and documentation (e.g., schematics, manuals).
  • Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) efforts by participating in continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining accurate documentation of maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Quality, Safety & Communication
  • Ensure training meets safety, quality, and production performance standards.
  • Participate in area whiteboard meetings, huddles, and shift pass‑downs to align training needs and reinforce performance expectations.
  • Assess and evolve visual quality or process deviations in accordance with escalation procedures.
  • Serve as the local expert and point of contact when global training standards are introduced or updated.
  • Align and deploy global standards in the local area, ensuring accuracy, adherence, and full implementation.
  • Collaborate with other Global Job Trainers across LEGO sites as part of the Global Trainer Network to share knowledge, resolve challenges, and build consistency across plants.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Additional technical training or certifications in manufacturing, maintenance, or production operations are a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in molding machine maintenance.
  • Proven understanding of workflows, safety protocols, and quality standards in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in training, mentoring, or onboarding team members preferred.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training as needed.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills; able to clearly explain tasks and provide constructive feedback.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced production setting.

  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written) required – minimum CEFR level B2‑C1 or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with LEAN, standard work, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with digital systems such as MES, SAP, or CHAMP (training will be provided if needed).
