Manufacturing Engineer (Pharma - Contract)

Virginia Contract Duration: 6-9 Months

We are seeking experienced Manufacturing Engineers to support a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Virginia. The role involves managing deviations, providing shop floor support, and working with fermentation and purification unit operations.

• Deviation Management:
  Identify, investigate, and resolve deviations in manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards.
• Shop Floor Support:
  Provide real-time troubleshooting and technical assistance for production operations.
• Process Improvement:
  Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  Maintain accurate records of process deviations, corrective actions, and validation activities.
• Compliance & Safety:
  Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

• Experience:
  
  3-5 years in manufacturing within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Technical Expertise:
  Proficiency in fermentation and purification unit operations.
• Skills:
  
  Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and process improvement skills.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.
• Knowledge:
  Familiarity with cGMP, FDA regulations, and quality assurance processes.

• Experience with regulatory audits and inspections.
• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.

This is a contract position with a projected start in 1Q. Candidates must be available for on-site work in Virginia.
