Agency ### ##### The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for creating cycles of improvement throughout the organization by leading capital deployment, continuous improvement / cost-out projects, and other operations excellence initiatives.

• Evaluate, analyze and improve operations and engineering processes using fundamentally sound manufacturing principles to ensure excellence in safety, efficiency, productivity, cost reduction and quality.

• Initiate and lead improvement projects including manufacturing equipment, facility enhancements, production expansion, industrialization and other assigned projects.

• Other duties as assigned

Skillsets preferred:

• Manufacturing Project Management
• Facilities project management
• Maintenance program implementation and management
• Continuous improvement / lean program implementation and management
• Process Improvement
• Communications skills (presentations, report outs, deployments)

Education Preferred:

• Industrial or process engineering

Experience Preferred:

• 1 year of manufacturing engineering, continuous improvement, manufacturing project management
