Our client, a leader in electronic manufacturing and testing, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Test Technician to join their team. As an Electrical Test Technician, you will be part of the production support department, focusing on testing and troubleshooting enterprise equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Test Technician

Location: Richmond, VA

Pay Range: $21-$24

Shift: 1st shift: 6:00am to 2:30p OR 2nd shift 2:00pm to 10:30pm

What's the Job?
  • Proficiently test various types of Static Switches, UPSs, RPPs, and PDUs to ensure quality and functionality.

  • Perform troubleshooting on complex enterprise equipment, including high and low power systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Process, and Engineering departments to resolve issues.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 6S principles.

  • Work closely with production teams to address manufacturing challenges and improve processes.

What's Needed?
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience required

  • 3-5 years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronics, with a preference for high power 600V-208V 3-phase applications.

  • Strong understanding of electrical/electronic technology, including reading schematics and blueprints.

  • Proficiency with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and power meters.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
