Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking an Inventory Clerk - 1st Shift in Richmond, VA. The pay rate for this position is $21.63 per hour.

Core hours: 7:00AM - 3:30PM

What you'll do:

• The Inventory Clerk is responsible for inventory process control and resolution as needed to accomplish Eaton's overall objectives of providing on-time delivery of quality products.
• Support and initiate actions with management to ensure that personnel comply to the company's policies and performance/productivity levels.
• Systematically inspect materials to ensure accurate order fulfillment and production readiness.
• Review production schedules and generate pick lists for Material Handlers.
• Audit material movement and prior day stow activity to monitor productivity and ensure SAP accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts, identify discrepancies between physical inventory and SAP, and drive resolution.
• Research lost or misplaced material by reviewing SAP transaction history and correcting bin allocations and errors.
• Monitor transfer log requests, partner with Material Handlers to fulfill requests, and communicate transferred materials to receiving buildings.
• Collaborate cross functionally with team leads, inventory teams, and production lines to resolve material and inventory issues.
• Maintain and update inventory records within MRP systems.
• Develop, document, and improve inventory management procedures.
• Safely operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks as required.
