What You’ll Do

As a BHE Assembler / Production Operator, you will play a critical role in building products that support industries around the world.

Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Operating production equipment, machines, and overhead cranes safely
  • Loading and unloading metal plates, components, and finished products
  • Assembling heat exchangers using hand and power tools
  • Utilizing touchscreen computer systems to access work instructions and update production information
  • Setting up and monitoring equipment to ensure efficient, high‑quality production
  • Reading blueprints, work orders, and manufacturing instructions
  • Inspecting products to ensure they meet strict quality standards
  • Troubleshooting minor production or equipment issues
  • Supporting shipping, warehouse, and production functions as needed
  • Participating in process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining organized workstations through 5S practices
  • Collaborating with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Warehouse teams to keep production moving efficiently

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of manufacturing experience operating machines, equipment, or production systems
  • Experience using hand and power tools in a production or assembly environment
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing drawings
  • Experience with machine operation and assembly processes
  • Comfortable working with computers and touchscreen production systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow SOPs and maintain compliance with safety requirements
