R Chemical Operator (Open) – Richmond, VA
Seppic, a subsidiary of Air Liquide, specializes in the design, manufacture and marketing of ingredients for cosmetic, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and veterinary products. The Richmond site focuses on high‑quality cosmetic ingredients and adheres to GMP, ISO 9001:2015 and other environmental certifications.
Compensation & Benefits- Pay: $22.00–$27.00 per hour

- Follow batch records and instructions per Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Operate and support manufacturing equipment in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Perform equipment cleaning as approved
- Collect in‑process samples and conduct analysis
- Understand manufacturing processes and equipment operation
- Monitor equipment performance during batch processing
- Identify and report deviations to management
- Participate in near‑miss incident reporting
- Maintain a safe, clean workspace and communicate equipment concerns to maintenance
- Suggest process improvements and engage in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S
- Collaborate on root‑cause investigations and other team duties as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); technical school diploma preferred
- Basic understanding of chemical manufacturing processes
- Good knowledge of industrial safety practices and basic math skills
- Understanding of Good Documentation and Manufacturing Practices
- Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical drawings
- Computer literacy and company software proficiency
- Good communication skills
- Forklift license
- Self‑starter, motivated, and committed to safety and quality
