Transformation Manager
Welcome to the job description for the role of Transformation Manager in Richmond, VA.
Candidate should have experience as a Converting Supervisor in a corrugate box manufacturing plant.
This position includes a rotational schedule of days and nights. 2D/2N/2O/4N/5O.
Relocation assistance is available, or candidates must reside within 45 miles of the facility.
Requirements:
- A degree in an Engineering field (preferred)
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt)
- At least 3 years of experience as a Converting Supervisor in a corrugate plant
Responsibilities:
- Support the production system and teams to ensure safe operations in the Converting department.
- Assist in managing day-to-day shift activities with the Production Manager to meet production targets.
- Monitor and oversee KPIs and production goals, while coordinating workflow and staffing.
- Set an example by prioritizing safety and advocating for improvements in the facility.
- Supervise staff and evaluate performance through the internal DMS.
