What's a typical day as Material Handler? You'll be:
Supplying components to packaging lines to support continuous production efficiency. Counting, verifying, and documenting inventory before distributing components and cross-checking returned stock. Operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and manual hoists safely after completing required checklists. Removing leftover materials to clear lines between product lots and maintain production flow. Making accurate, legible entries in batch records, logbooks, and clean-up documentation. Handling, transferring, and labeling hazardous waste in compliance with EPA regulations, especially on aerosol lines.
Maintaining line cleanliness and organization by following 5S and pharmaceutical plant protocols.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have and can maintain a valid, active forklift operator certification (must have). Are knowledgeable in cGMP, OSHA, and site-specific safety regulations, and can strictly adhere to compliance standards. Possess basic computer literacy; experience with SAP or warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly preferred. Can stand and sit for extended periods (8- to 12-hour shifts), bend, pull, and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
