Job Title
Strategy Development and Execution:
Create and articulate inspiring vision for process automation. Seek and analyze data from a variety of sources, especially external, to develop strategy and support decisions
Lead Large Scale Technology Change Initiatives:
Identify and define appropriate technology change programs to advance operational capability and deliver business outcomes (productivity yield, quality improvement, cost reduction, etc.) Create realistic goals and implementation plans; execute with robust change management
Advance Cyber Protections:
Assess and ensure the process control network has a strong cybersecurity posture as new threats emerge Leading and
Coaching:
Manage, coach, and develop direct reports, assessing current and future capabilities; coach individuals across organization to leverage plant automation technology for delivery of business outcomes
Facilitate Internal and External
Collaboration:
Promote teamwork, alignment, and transparency, building strong stakeholder relationships. Align on strategic outcomes and influence stakeholder decisions that enable achievement of automation strategy. Collaborate with industry process automation experts to improve strategic insights. Recommend / pursue collaboration; provide appropriate technical guidance to ensure the success
Ensure Optimal Performance:
Proactively oversee 24x7 operations. Troubleshoot issues with an eye toward root cause analysis, avoiding repeat failures
Business and technical acumen:
Leverage process aptitude to understand operations and align automation technology to enable key outcomes. Develop and execute automation design that contributes to short and long-term improvement of operational processes.
What you’ll bring to the table:
Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering or Technology discipline.
Minimum 7 years progressive experience in design / operation / management of process automation systems / teams in manufacturing setting, preferably Schneider or Honeywell control systems. Familiarity with other automation technologies –Uniformance, OSI PI, Aspen Tech preferred
Demonstrated success driving enterprise-wide programs and creating business value – productivity yield, quality improvement, cost reduction, etc.
