NDT Inspector
The NDT Inspector performs non-destructive testing on steam and gas turbine components and generator parts, supporting quality assurance in both factory and field environments.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in required safety training.
- Perform assigned inspections and tasks under direction of Supervisor/Leadman.
- Demonstrate strong communication and work habits consistent with the Behavioral Skills section of the Skills Matrix.
- Conduct NDT inspections including:
Magnetic Particle (MT), Dye Penetrant (PT), and Ultrasonic (UT). - Perform hardness testing using Equotip, Wilson, and Clark equipment.
- Prepare NCRs and complete all steps in I&T Plans.
- Communicate professionally with team members and support workforce skill development.
- Perform other functions as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Ability to work 1st shift (7-3:30pm) or 2nd shift (3-11:30pm).
- High School diploma or GED.
- NT, PT, UT Level 2 Certification – with 5 years' experience.
- Ability to work overtime as required, including occasional weekend shifts.

Qualifications:
- Significant technical experience (approximately 5 or more years) with a variety of power generating equipment (steam and gas).
- Strong math skills and the ability to perform complex mathematical calculations.
- Ability to work independently and with others under stressful conditions.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions to solve complex problems.
- Ability to document and follow proper procedures and train others to do so.
The pay for this position is $26.00 to $41.50/hr. plus $2/hr shift differential. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
