Job Summary
Merit Medical is a leader in disposable medical devices focused on cardiology, radiology, oncology, critical care, and endoscopy. We are looking for a Production Team Member to assemble medical products, operate equipment, and maintain quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lifting not to exceed 50 lbs.
- Writing, sitting, standing, bending, visual acuity, color perception, depth perception, reading, field of vision/peripheral.
- Fine motor skills, noise, chemical vapors, soldering fumes.
- High school diploma or equivalent and six months of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrates competency and ability to rotate in specific assembly lines.
- Ability to meet line rate expectations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in checking information.
- Ability to recognize, identify, and distinguish between different medical products by appearance.
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks requiring dexterity and fine motor skills.
- Knowledge of basic math and ability to apply it in work situations.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Ability to visually check work performed and identify whether a product has been assembled correctly.
- Dependability in coming to work on time and meeting company attendance guidelines.
- Must be able to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Ability to operate testing equipment.
- Must be sealer certified.
- Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database, and other applicable software programs.
- Must achieve certification in Production, Boxing, Warehouse, and Sealing within 90 days of time in position.
- Medical product assembly/eye‑hand coordination.
- Assembly line rotation.
- Quality inspection.
- Computer skills.
- Operate sealer.
- Product retrieval/movement.
- Order picking.
- Packaging product.
- Shipping product.
- Multiple shifts to choose from:
Days, Swing (Evening), and Nights. - Medical, dental, and other insurances (eligible the first of the month after 30 days).
