Location: Richmond, VA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime and some weekends as needed)
Pay: $19.00–$22.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Welder to join a growing manufacturing and fabrication team in Richmond, VA
. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable MIG Welder or Production Welder who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while producing high-quality welded products. The ideal candidate has experience with metal fabrication
, blueprint reading, and operating fabrication equipment while maintaining a strong commitment to quality and safety.
As a Welder
, you will be responsible for welding, fitting, and fabricating steel components while ensuring all finished products meet quality standards.
- Perform MIG welding and light TIG welding on steel components and fabricated assemblies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and fabrication prints to complete projects accurately.
- Lay out, fit, align, and weld metal components according to specifications.
- Perform metal fabrication
, grinding, sanding, and finishing of welded assemblies. - Operate plasma cutters, torches, grinders, and other fabrication equipment safely.
- Inspect welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with production standards.
- Measure materials using tape measures, combination squares, levels, and precision measuring tools.
- Operate overhead cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment.
- Load, move, and organize materials throughout the production area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety procedures.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing welding and fabrication duties.
- Assist with additional production and manufacturing responsibilities as needed.
- Previous experience as a Welder
, MIG Welder
, Production Welder
, or Fabricator required. - Experience with MIG welding is required;
TIG welding experience is preferred. - Experience working in a manufacturing
, fabrication, or production environment. - Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld symbols.
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and welding procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to safely operate grinders, plasma cutters, torches, overhead cranes, and hand tools.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds independently and over 100 pounds with assistance.
- Stand and walk throughout the entire shift on concrete floors.
- Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach.
- Work safely around moving machinery, welding equipment, and airborne particles.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including welding helmet, gloves, steel‑toe boots, hearing protection, respirators, and protective clothing.
- Monday through Friday
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Overtime available and some weekends required based on production needs
- Competitive pay of $19.00–$22.00 per hour
