About the job:
As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role being responsible for managing production schedules, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring timely delivery of products. Your expertise will help optimize our production processes and support our commitment to delivering high-quality products on schedule. Currently, this is an onsite opportunity located in Richmond, VA.
- Manage EDI Inbox:
Oversee and process incoming EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) messages to ensure accurate and timely order management. - Short-Term Scheduling:
Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules for a 0-3-month horizon, ensuring alignment with customer demand and material availability. - Order Management:
Firm new production orders, advising Planners on material constraints and potential issues. - Production Order Replanning:
Replan existing production orders as needed, based on material arrivals and changes in order demand. - Delivery Capability Analysis:
Analyze the capability to deliver products within a 0-3-month perspective, identifying risks and bottlenecks. - Continuous Improvement:
Suggest and implement measures to secure expected production volumes and meet agreed lead times. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Planning, Sourcing and Production teams to ensure seamless execution of schedules. - Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual journal entries and cost allocations.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in production scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP, preferable on Dynamics 365 systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

The base salary for this role is typically $85,000 - $95,000.
