Adecco is seeking a skilled Electronics Test Technician II to join a leading manufacturer specializing in enterprise power and electrical distribution equipment in Richmond, VA. This position is initially temporary with the potential to become permanent, offering excellent opportunities for career growth within a dynamic team focused on mission-critical power solutions.

Position Details:
  • Pay Rate: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
  • Shifts: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) and 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)
  • Flexibility: Required for occasional weekends and shift changes based on business needs

As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and validating electronic systems, ensuring product quality and reliability. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production departments to resolve technical issues, contribute to continuous improvements, and support the delivery of high-quality electrical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test, troubleshoot, and validate electrical and electronic equipment, including UPS systems and power distribution units.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic issues at the component and PCB level.
  • Operate and program testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and power meters.
  • Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Identify production issues, report discrepancies, and collaborate with engineering teams.
  • Support process improvements while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Work with three-phase power systems and high-voltage electrical components safely.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • High School Diploma or GED required;
    Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with experience diagnosing at the board level.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Hands‑on experience with electronic testing tools such as oscilloscopes and power meters.
  • Preferably experienced with three-phase power systems and high-powered electrical equipment.
  • Manufacturing or test lab experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices is a plus.
  • Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work effectively in a production environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
Pay Details:

$25.00 to $29.00 per hour
