The Capital One Brand team is responsible for positioning and differentiating the Capital One brand and empowering teams across the enterprise to deliver a cohesive and powerful brand experience – to our associates, customers, prospects and the community are seeking a strategic, results-focused Senior Marketing Manager to spearhead the development and execution to deliver end-to-end brand strategies for the enterprise.
In this high-impact role, you will direct a robust, enterprise-wide associate engagement program designed to drive brand protection and advocacy. This includes owning the strategic direction and execution of immersive strategies such as content management, associate activations and branded merchandise. You will operate as a critical cross-functional leader, forging and influencing high-value partnerships across the enterprise to ensure marketing plans are strategically aligned and delivered with maximum impact across all channels.
Leveraging your deep industry expertise you will actively influence and shape breakthrough strategies that deliver measurable business results. You will serve as a key collaborator with marketing strategy partners, internally and externally, to champion and expand brand advocacy and education.

Enable leaders and teams to do their best work
Lead and inspire the team act against strategic plans, positioning and messaging
Tie together marketing and business results
Work across multiple teams and channels to build relationships for impact
Review and approve creative proposals
Provide direction to creative teams regarding feedback and expectations
Anticipate and proactively address obstacles as a strategic thought partner
Be a beacon of brand consistency that enables our marketing and communications to be recognized and remembered by the audience
Partner with and influence marketing and internal business leaders to understand needs, positively influencing marketing strategy and the customer experience
Use expert knowledge marketing trends and translate business intent into creative strategies and executions that market products effectively
Understand the intended audience to develop targeted marketing messages
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 8 years of experience in a brand strategy or marketing
At least 8 years of experience in project management
At least 8 years of experience working with creative teams
At least 4 years of experience in creating and delivering presentations
At least 4 years of experience working with a Fortune 500 brand
Experience with communication strategy and/or event marketing

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $177,700 - $202,800 for Sr. Manager, Brand
Richmond, VA: $161,500 - $184,300 for Sr. Manager, Brand
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer…
