Marketing Copywriter

Shift: Standard 1st shift working hours from Monday-Friday
Duration: 12 Months
Pay range: $28.46 - $28.46/hr.

Location:

Remote with occasional travel to headquarters in Richmond, VA

Job Description:

This role will be responsible for creating and/or modifying marketing content across all marketing channels, ensuring alignment with brand voice, strategic objectives, and audience engagement goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of copywriting principles, marketing strategies, and the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences. This position requires collaboration with cross- functional teams, including marketing, design, and leadership, to deliver high-quality content that drives brand growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation:
  Write engaging and persuasive content for digital platforms (e.g., email campaigns, website).
• Brand Alignment and Strategy:
  Maintain a deep understanding of Client’s portfolio of brands, them
• unique brand positions, and style guides to tailor messaging effectively.
• Cross-Channel Marketing Support:
  Write copy for integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, web, and video;
  Partner with design teams to ensure copy and visuals work cohesively to deliver impactful messaging.
• Quality Assurance and Feedback:
  Proofread and edit copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand standards;
  Incorporate feedback from CXO and marketing teams to refine and improve content;
  Maintain a consistent tone and style across all deliverables.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  Work closely with CXO activation leads and leadership to understand their vision and translate it into compelling copy;
  Partner with marketing teams to brainstorm ideas and develop creative concepts for campaigns.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• Experience in copywriting, content creation, or marketing roles.
• Portfolio showcasing a range of copywriting work across different channels and industries.
