OverviewThe Digital Marketing Intern / Digital Marketing Specialist will support the organization’s online presence, outreach campaigns, and digital engagement efforts. This role is ideal for someone interested in marketing, communications, storytelling, social media, nonprofit outreach, and community impact. (CPT/OPT Eligible)
Responsibilities- Create and manage digital content across platforms.
- Support social media campaigns.
- Assist with donor communications.
- Track engagement metrics.
- Promote programs and events across multiple platforms.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
- Students, recent graduates, and OPT candidates are welcome to apply.
- 0–2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, or related work.
- Internship, volunteer, academic, or project-based experience is accepted.
- Strong interest in nonprofit work, education, community engagement, and social impact.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage assigned tasks.
- Social media management for Instagram, Facebook, and Linked In.
- Canva or similar graphic design tools.
- Content creation and digital storytelling.
- Basic video editing (preferred).
- Email marketing tools such as Mailchimp or similar platforms.
- Time management and organization.
- Team collaboration and adaptability.
- Basic analytics and engagement tracking.
- Word Press or Elementor experience is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience in nonprofit digital marketing, social media strategy, content planning, donor engagement, campaign reporting, Word Press, SEO, and community outreach.

Marketing & Communications Lead or Program Director
Duration & CommitmentMinimum of 10‑24 hours per week. Flexible schedule based on organizational needs and intern availability. Internship duration may range from 12‑16 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational requirements.
