Position: Community & Events Coordinator, Home-start RKH

Could you be the new Coordinator to join a passionate team and play a pivotal role delivering their community fundraising and family events programmes, plus also providing coordination and administrative support for internal team activity and stakeholder engagement?

As Community Events Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in delivering the community fundraising and family events programmes for Home-Start Richmond, Kingston & Hounslow ,supporting both families directly and the organisation’s fundraising efforts in their mission to make sure every child has the best start in life.

The key responsibilities of the role are to:

  • support the planning and delivery of up to two major fundraising events annually
  • support other corporate partnerships and fundraising events & challenges throughout the year, eg London Marathon, local Open Gardens, Balls and community-led events, presence at local markets
  • event administration & support for Family Summer Activities in the summer months
  • support the fundraising and family teams with other ad hoc activities, eg. sending thank you letters, organising ad hoc donations such as Christmas boxes
  • provide general administrative support including managing a centralised mailbox, directing enquiries to the appropriate team members and responding where appropriate.

The team works flexibly, with a hybrid model and one day in the office as a team (currently Wednesdays) in Central Richmond.
