Director of Youth Ministries

Come join our church staff! We are seeking a Director of Youth Ministries to plan, coordinate, and lead ministries for and with youth (sixth-twelfth grades) and their families, including weekly Sunday morning and afternoon programs, special activities, and annual mission trips. The Director of Youth Ministries works closely with other staff and ministry leaders to facilitate an integrated approach to ministry with youth.

This position directly supports Reveille’s vision to welcome all people to follow Jesus Christ and serve together as a hub of faith, hope, and action.

Candidates should have a minimum of two years leadership experience with local church youth ministries or programs. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and familiarity with United Methodist theology are required. Skill with recruiting, leading, and empowering teams is essential. Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills are required, including the use of technology for communications and ministry management.

A successful background check is required prior to hire.

Compensation for full-time employment is $50, per year based on experience and qualifications. Part-time salary will be determined based on work schedule. Benefits include a 403(b)-retirement plan with up to a 6% match and continuing education support. Medical and dental insurance and paid leave benefits are available to full-time employees only.
