The People Hive is seeking an inspiring and strategic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead their unique and much-loved local charity into its next phase of development.

Based in Twickenham, The People Hive creates real opportunities for adults with a learning disability across Richmond upon Thames and surrounding areas.

From their vibrant community hub, they deliver creative, social and life-enhancing activities that promote connection, confidence and independence. They also operate a public gallery showcasing local artists, generating vital income for the charity and providing paid work experience for the people we support.

Their impact was recognised when they were shortlisted for the Richmond Community Heroes Awards 2025, and they are currently exploring exciting opportunities for future growth and expansion.

This is a pivotal leadership role. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Trustees to shape and deliver the charity’s strategic direction, ensure strong governance and financial sustainability, and lead a small, dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

The role also involves acting as an ambassador for the organisation, building partnerships, strengthening community relationships and securing funding to support long-term resilience.

They are looking for a confident and values-driven leader with senior management experience, ideally within the charity, community or social care sector.

You will bring strong strategic thinking, financial oversight and fundraising capability, alongside the ability to inspire others and champion inclusion.
