Rn Mgr - Clinical Nurse Acute Rehab

The Clinical Manager is responsible for the day-to-day shift operations in the Acute Rehab Unit. He/she manages human resources at the unit level in a cost-effective manner. The Clinical Manager promptly and fully investigates and resolves complaints from patients, visitors, staff, and physicians, advising management/administration appropriately. The Clinical Manager demonstrates the ability to respond and provide direction during changing workload situations, including crises and emergencies.

The role includes completing and transmitting IRF-PAI documentation. Access to all Patient Health Information is limited to treatment purposes only. In support of DRMC’s Mission and Vision, the Clinical Manager adopts and embodies the Values of DRMC:

• Current California RN License
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
• Demonstrated clinical competence and leadership skills
• Ability to present oneself professionally and positively
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (must be maintained)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Active listening skills
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities
• Compliance with PAPR protection policy
• Proficiency in computer skills, including eRehab

• Legible handwriting

• Current American Heart Association PALS Certification
• Bachelor’s degree
• Previous management experience
• CRRN Certification
