You’ll play a vital role in advancing our mission. In this position, you’ll be responsible for arranging transportation (ground and air) for the Life Net Coordinator, the Recovering Surgeon, and/or the organ. You will be responsible for placing kidneys on pump for imported and/or locally recovered kidneys. The Import Coordinator will also be responsible for fly‑outs, which include flying with surgeons for organs when needed.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Import Transportation & Logistics: Coordinate all aspects of importing an organ into Life Net Health service area, including air and ground transportation and flying with surgeons when needed.
- Kidney Perfusion: Operate kidney perfusion machines and maintain accurate clinical preservation records. Place kidneys on pump, monitor pump numbers, and deliver kidneys to transplant centers.
- Documentation: Accurately and timely document all clinical and logistical information for donors in compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory standards. Engage with transplant center staff to obtain medical information and record donor information in True North.
- Packaging & Labeling: Package and label kidneys for local transplant centers for living donor cases and fly‑in/fly‑out organ recoveries. Maintain stocking and preparation of supplies necessary for import recoveries.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years’ experience in the medical field
- Associate Degree
- Attention to Detail – Perform tasks thoroughly and with care, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
- Communication – Effectively communicate verbally and in writing, building relationships with professionals at all levels.
- Computer – Proficient with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Psychological Skills – Handle routine tasks and work under stressful situations.
- Time Management & Multitasking – Prioritize multiple competing priorities and manage workload efficiently.
- Critical Thinking – Make independent decisions regarding logistical arrangements.
- Logistical Analysis – Solve problems step‑by‑step and look beyond obvious solutions.
- Teamwork – Collaborate as part of a team to resolve issues, complete tasks, and meet business needs.

Salary Range: USD 20.36 – 27.15 per hour. Final compensation will be based on geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. Actual compensation may be higher for the selected candidate.
