As an Inpatient Rehab LPN Extern PRN, your voice to influence patient care is valued at every turn through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You ll help shape decisions that elevate patient outcomes and the future of nursing.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting patients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), monitoring vital signs, and supporting patient mobility and comfort
  • Performing nursing tasks like wound care, catheter management, and non-medicated procedures as your skills develop
  • Documenting patient information, observations and changes, and communicating important updates promptly to the nursing team
  • Helping patients and families understand their care plans and preparing them for recovery through clear, compassionate education
  • Maintaining a clean, safe patient environment by following safety protocols, managing equipment, and responding quickly to patient needs
Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Currently enrolled in Practical Nursing program
