- Coordinates daily EP procedural schedule including ablations, device implants, cardioversions, and related cases.
- Assists physicians and staff during EP procedures as needed within scope of practice.
- Ensures procedure rooms are properly prepared, stocked, and equipped prior to cases.
- Oversees EP mapping systems, recording systems, and specialized equipment readiness.
- Promotes adherence to sterile technique, infection prevention standards, and patient safety protocols.
- Participates in time‑out process and ensures completion of required documentation.
- Assists with patient flow from pre‑op through discharge to optimize efficiency.
- Responds appropriately to urgent or emergent situations.
- Serves as primary coordinator for EP program workflow and daily operations.
- Collaborates with physicians, anesthesia, vendors, and staff to coordinate case needs.
- Manages inventory of EP supplies, implants, catheters, disposables, and specialty equipment.
- Coordinates product ordering, par levels, and vendor communication.
- Assists with room turnover processes and scheduling efficiencies.
- Tracks equipment maintenance, service needs, and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Assists with onboarding of new EP technology, devices, and workflows.
- Helps to maintain logs and records related to implants, sterilization, equipment checks, and procedural data.
- Supports radiation safety practices and documentation as applicable.
- Assists with policy and procedure development for EP services.
- Serves as subject matter resource for EP staff and cross‑training initiatives.
- Assists with orientation and ongoing education of nursing and procedural staff.
- Provides guidance to team members regarding EP workflows and best practices.
- Promotes teamwork, communication, accountability, and service excellence.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills are required. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast‑paced procedural environment is essential.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE- Current RN license, RCIS, or RT(R) required.
- Minimum 3–5 years cardiovascular or electrophysiology experience preferred.
- Prior EP procedural experience required.
- Previous leadership, charge, coordinator, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with EP mapping systems and cardiovascular equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of ASC workflows and regulatory standards preferred.
Full‑time. Monday through Friday, 10 hours shifts. No Nights! No Weekends! No Holidays! No Call!
