Hours:
6:30 AM – 3:00 PM - Call Required
- Weekday call begins at 3:00 PM
- Weekend call:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (rotating)
- BLS
Proficient in scrubbing complex cardiovascular surgical procedures, including:
- CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting)
- Valve repair and replacement
- Repair of aortic dissections
- Cardiopulmonary bypass cases
- Thoracic surgery
- Open thoracotomy
- VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery)
- ECMO initiation
- Pericardial window procedures
- Strong CVOR scrubbing experience
- Excellent sterile technique
- Familiarity with cardiac instrumentation
- Ability to anticipate surgeon needs during complex cardiac procedures
- Comfortable taking call
- CABG

- TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
- Thoracic Surgery
- Da Vinci-assisted Lobectomy
- Wedge Resection
- Mediastinal Lymph Node Biopsy

- Pericardial Window
- Weekday call after scheduled shift
- Rotating weekend call (Friday–Sunday)
- Must be available for emergency cardiovascular surgeries
- Hospital-provided scrubs
