Position Overview
RN-Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab (Day Shift, 10x4)
Location:
Chippenham Hospital, 7101 Jahnke Rd, Richmond, VA 23225, Floor 3
Pay package: approx. $2,995 per week (includes $1,995 tax‑free stipend and $1,000 base pay). Base rate: $25/hour.
Contract starts 6/29/2026, 13 weeks, Onsite. On call some weekends and weekdays.
Unit Details- Number of Beds – 3 cath labs
- Number of Staff – 10-11 staff per day in cath lab
- Type of staff – Day Shift: mix of RNs and cardiovascular technologists;
Night Shift: none - Patient Ratios – 3 staff per room
- Equipment – Client X-ray/Mac Lab
- EMR – Meditech
- Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
- Impella, balloon‑pump
- Peripheral cases
- Complex PCIs
- Occasional devices
- Experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab
- Experience working in a high-volume lab handling complex cases
- RN
- Scrub colour: light blue (hospital will provide)
- Act professional and attendance is vital
- Able to report to hospital within 30 minutes of call-back
- On call some weekends and weekdays
Traveling RN must have a permanent address over 50 miles from hospital.
