Salary Estimate: $84,926.40 - $ / year
Job SummaryThe Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.
Responsibilities- Quality:
Operate evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and outcomes; adhere to standards of care; reduce variation in practice; support internal/external benchmarks and compliance; maintain equipment; manage admissions/discharges for efficient throughput. - Service:
Lead to attain and sustain unparalleled patient experience; analyze feedback mechanisms and improve satisfaction; ensure compliance with evidence-based service practices; collaborate with experts to foster teamwork; engage in service recovery. - People:
Inspire commitment to vision/mission/values; implement employee engagement practices; identify development needs; provide coaching, feedback, and training; attract, develop, engage, retain talent; resolve employee grievances. - Growth:
Represent the organization positively in the community; participate in events. - Finance:
Manage staff scheduling and staffing levels; control operating expenses, utilization of supplies and equipment; identify cost savings.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma – Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing – Preferred
- 3+ years applicable experience – Required
- Active RN license in state of practice or active compact license – Required
- Comprehensive medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, behavioral health, and telemedicine services.
