CRNA - Anesthetist

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire

• Current RN license in Virginia
• Current license to practice in specialty area (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist-CRNA) in Virginia
• Current CRNA certification by the National Board on Certification/Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists

• Current RN License in Virginia
• Current license in Virginia to practice in specialty area (CRNA)
• Complete 40 CEU’s every 2 years
• Credentialing in accordance with medical staff by‑laws for specific job title

• Academic health care experience
• One (1) year within the specialty practice area

• Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited program specific to area of practice
• Applicants with current advanced practice licensure may be within one semester of graduation from obtaining a MSN Degree or higher, which must be completed within six months of hire to continue employment.
