, the Registered Nurse (Dialysis) provides comprehensive nursing care, oversees dialysis treatments, and ensures the highest standards of patient safety and quality.
Provide direct nursing care to dialysis patients in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and facility policies.
Supervise and monitor dialysis treatments to ensure patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes.
Assess patient condition before, during, and after dialysis treatments, responding promptly to changes in status.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and applicable regulations.
Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and provide timely interventions as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with physicians, dialysis technicians, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate high-quality patient care.
Ensure compliance with all infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia.
Previous dialysis experience preferred.
Current BLS Certification (CPR) required.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
Knowledge of dialysis procedures, patient safety practices, and applicable healthcare regulations.
