Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Nurse Job Summary

Richmond Post Acute, a leading provider of post‑acute care in Richmond, VA, is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse Wound Care Nurse, you will provide high‑quality wound care to our residents, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Integrates research findings to clinical practice to deliver evidence‑based wound care
• Develops and implements policies and procedures to manage residents with draining wounds, fistulae, and/or tubes
• Provides education to residents and families on wound care, ostomy care, and incontinence
• Conducts pre‑ and post‑op assessments and resident and family education for surgery resulting in an ostomy
• Ensures that all nursing service personnel comply with procedures set forth in the Nursing Service Procedures Manual
• Makes written and oral reports or recommendations concerning the activities of your shift, as required
