Richmond Post Acute is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our long-term care team in Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents on the Pulmonary/Trach Unit.
  • Monitor residents with tracheostomies, pulmonary conditions, oxygen therapy, and respiratory needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
  • Perform skilled nursing assessments and report changes in condition promptly.
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation staff, and other members of the care team.
  • Assist with tracheostomy care, suctioning, respiratory monitoring, and related clinical interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Support infection prevention and resident safety practices.
  • Educate residents and families as appropriate.
  • Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs during assigned shifts.
  • Follow facility policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations.
  • Promote a positive, compassionate, and resident-centered care environment.
Qualifications
  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia.
  • Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, subacute, respiratory, or pulmonary care experience preferred.
  • Trach care experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
