Bon Secours Stratford Hills Urgent Care | Full-Time and PRN FNP​/PA Opportunities Available

Join Bon Secours Mercy Health as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner at our brand-new, state-of-the-art Stratford Hills Urgent Care, opening in Q4 2026 in Richmond, Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the founding clinical team, helping launch a modern, purpose-built facility designed with the latest technology, streamlined workflows, and an exceptional patient experience in mind.

As a FT or PRN provider, you'll deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for a wide range of non-emergent illnesses and injuries while working alongside a collaborative team of experienced medical assistants and front-office staff. Our urgent care centers are open 7 days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., offering flexible scheduling and the chance to make a lasting impact from day one in one of Richmond's newest and most innovative urgent care clinics.

Urgent Care Scope of Services:

• Walk-in access to high-quality, non-emergency care
• Occupational medicine services, including workers compensation, return-to-work evaluations, and pre-employment physicals
• On-site diagnostic services, including laboratory testing, X-rays, and EKGs
• Seamless coordination with primary care and specialty providers as needed

What We Offer

  • Competitive guaranteed base compensation - salary is determined by years of active FNP or PA experience and includes 36 hours. Does not include premium pay, bonuses, or stipend programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care for walk-in patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of urgent care needs
• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, I&D, and wound care as appropriate
• Collaborate with medical assistants and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent service
• Provide patient education and ensure clear communication around care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in Virginia.
• Active DEA license
• A minimum two years of active FNP/PA experience
• Urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting

Work Hours

• Full-Time:
  Three 8a-8p shifts per week with rotating weekends.
• PRN: 24 hours per month - minimum
• Clinic is closed on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
