Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Development Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Staff Development Coordinator at Richmond Post Acute. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for providing education and training to our staff, analyzing and evaluating nursing care, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities:
Function as a liaison between the facility and community education resources to provide education and training to our staff
Work closely with the DON/ADON to provide education related to quality assurance data conversion and evaluation for the QA program
Analyze and evaluate nursing care of employees during the probationary period to ensure compliance with industry standards
Supervise, train, and orient all staff members
Develop and implement educational programs to improve resident care and staff competency
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Virginia
Experience as a RN Staff Development/Educator or a similar role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
