Clinical Role

Provide inpatient Neurosurgery coverage beginning mid-December 2026 through at least April 2027. This assignment will support an existing Neurosurgery NP during a maternity leave.

Assignment Details

Coverage:
Mid-December 2026–April 2027

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• 100% inpatient
• Adult and geriatric patients
• Approximately 8 call-back hours

Clinical Responsibilities

• Post-procedural daily care
• Inpatient Neurosurgery management
• Patient and family communication and education
• Collaborate with existing Neurosurgery NP
• Epic EMR

Requirements

• Board Certified NP or PA – Required
• Active Virginia license in hand – Required
• DEA – Required
• ACLS and BLS – Required
• Clean professional history with no malpractice or licensing issues – Required
