- Experience: Prior neuro surgery NP experience preferred
- Hourly Rate: $14.74

- Provide inpatient post-procedural care for neurosurgery patients
- Communicate with patients and family members regarding treatment plans and education
- Collaborate with neurosurgery team to optimize patient outcomes
- Document clinical activities accurately in EPIC EMR system
- Assist with patient assessments and ongoing monitoring during hospitalization
- Support the neurosurgery team in managing adult and geriatric patient populations
Required:
- Valid state Nurse Practitioner license
- Experience in inpatient/neurosurgical settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Prior neuro surgery or hospital-based NP experience
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
This inpatient/neurosurgery coverage is for a well-respected hospital in Richmond, VA, providing essential postoperative and patient care services. The assignment requires a dedicated NP to join a team supporting neurosurgical procedures and patient recovery.
