- Schedule: 3 shifts/week, 12+ hours per shift, clinics open 7 days a week from 8a–8p
- Hours/week: Approximately 36 hours
- Employment Type: Locum
- Licenses/Certifications: Nurse Practitioner license, BLS
- Experience: Prior urgent care or outpatient experience preferred
- Hourly Rate: $0.00 (pay discussed upon application)

- Perform procedures such as laceration repairs, splinting, and basic orthopedics
- Conduct diagnostic assessments including EKGs, point-of-care testing, and x-ray interpretation
- Manage minor burn injuries, foreign body removal, and airway stabilization
- Document thoroughly in Epic EMR
- Collaborate with the clinical team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
- BLS certification
- Urgent care or outpatient experience preferred
- Strong procedural skills including suturing, splinting, and point-of-care testing
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Join a leading healthcare provider in Richmond, VA, for a short-term locum assignment supporting multiple outpatient clinics. The facilities operate seven days a week, providing ample flexibility for scheduling. The role involves managing a full spectrum of urgent care needs, with an emphasis on delivering patient-centered care in a dynamic setting. Credentialing is estimated to take 60–90 days.
