This correctional facility provides primary care services to an adult patient population in a secure clinical environment in Virginia. The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery and is supported by registered nurses and licensed practical nurses. Clinicians are expected to deliver professional and accurate care within the framework of correctional healthcare.

Virginia offers a range of cultural and recreational attractions, including regional museums, historical sites and performing arts venues. Outdoor enthusiasts will find opportunities for hiking, scenic drives and water recreation throughout the state. The region provides year-round activities suited to a variety of interests, from nature-based pursuits to cultural exploration.

The clinician will provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients in a correctional facility setting Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, managing approximately 18-20 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, managing chronic medical conditions, and treating acute illnesses while maintaining accurate documentation. No call coverage is required for this position.

Required credentials include a Virginia nursing license, DEA registration, board certification, and prescriptive authority.
