Travel RN – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Richmond, Virginia

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Call required starting at 3:00 PM when assigned; weekend call includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when assigned

• Scrub cardiac cases requiring cardiopulmonary bypass and related procedures in the mediastinum
• Assist with thoracic surgery cases including da Vinci-assisted procedures, open thoracotomy, and VATS
• Participate in procedures initiating ECMO and pericardial window cases
• Support a variety of cardiac cases including CABG, valve replacement and repair, aortic dissection repair, and TAVR
• Assist with da Vinci-assisted lobectomy, wedge resections, and mediastinal lymph node biopsy
• Take call as assigned per unit scheduling requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
• Proficiency in scrubbing cardiac cases requiring bypass and related cardiovascular and thoracic procedures
• Ability to take call as assigned, including weekend call
• Current BLS certification

• Experience with ECMO initiation procedures
• Familiarity with da Vinci robotic-assisted surgical cases
• Experience with TAVR and aortic dissection repair procedures

• Opportunity to work in a high-acuity cardiovascular surgical environment performing a broad range of advanced cardiac and thoracic procedures
• Hospital-provided scrubs and a structured 13-week travel contract with a projected start date in July 2026
