Monday through Sunday | 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM

As an RN Admissions Nurse, you will play a vital role in helping patients and families access hospice services and begin their care journey with comfort and confidence.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting pre-admission evaluations to determine eligibility and appropriateness for hospice services
- Educating patients and families about hospice care and available services
- Facilitating the admission process and obtaining informed consent
- Completing comprehensive nursing assessments
- Developing initial plans of care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient-centered care
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current RN license in the state of Virginia
- Current CPR certification
- Hospice experience preferred (1+ year)
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trusting relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of quality assessment and assurance practices
