Schedule:

Monday - Thursday | 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM Be the Calm, Compassionate Presence Families Need Most

What You'll Do

As our On-Call RN, you'll be a trusted resource for patients and families after hours by:

  • Triaging and responding to after-hours patient and family calls
  • Assessing patient needs and coordinating appropriate interventions
  • Providing symptom management and updating care plans as needed
  • Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless, high-quality care
  • Assessing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs while facilitating appropriate support services
  • Providing compassionate support and guidance to families during difficult moments
  • Performing clinical pronouncements when necessary

    Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
What You'll Bring
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current RN license in the state of Virginia
  • Minimum of two years of professional nursing experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and compassionate patient care abilities
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
