• Position: RN – Emergency Department
• Local Candidates:
  Must live outside a 50-mile radius
• Must pass an EKG exam during orientation (study guide available)
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
• Experience with conscious sedation required
• Epic experience preferred
• No travel teams
• Required
  
  Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, CPI (or de-escalation training)
• PALS not required (Adult ED)
• Copy of nursing diploma required

• 12-hour night shifts (7:30 PM – 8:00 AM)
• Every other weekend and major holidays required

• ITO Interview

• Unit Size: 30 ED beds, 14 Fast Track beds, plus hallway beds as needed
• Patient Population:
  Community Emergency Department treating patients of all ages and medical complaints (no trauma)
• Equipment:
  Alaris pumps, Panda warmers, Hamilton ventilators, Autopulse, Glide Scope, Ambu Scope, ultrasound, EKG machine, bladder scanner, cast cutter
• Support Staff:
  Respiratory Therapists, PCTs, phlebotomy, ED techs, unit secretary, 1–2 triage nurses based on volume, 24/7 charge nurse, on-site physician and advanced practice provider coverage
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4 (subject to change based on patient volume and staffing needs)
