• Day Shift – 1 Charge RN, 6 RN’s, 1 Unit Secretary, 2-3 Techs
• Night Shift – 1 Charge RN, 6 RN’s, 1 tech
• Patient Ratios – 4:1
• Type of equipment – EKG Machine, Hoyer Lift, Life Pak
• EMR – Meditech

Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Telemetry Experience and Reading EKG’s
• Ability to handle a fast paced unit with several admissions, discharges, transfers, procedures, etc.

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Sets priorities and modifies patient care in response to changing conditions by utilizing problem solving skills and exhibiting good judgment.
• Makes appropriate and timely notification to physicians on patient condition changes

• PD
• EKG’s
• Most cardiac procedures are done in the Cath Lab – not on the unit
