Location:

Richmond, VA (100% Onsite)

Contract Duration: 12+ Months (Potential Extension up to 3+ Years)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support large‑scale capital projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role will focus on driving execution, coordination, and delivery of CAPEX initiatives ranging from $10M $25M while partnering with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.

The ideal candidate will bring strong project management experience within GMP‑regulated environments and the ability to lead projects in fast‑paced manufacturing and expansion settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage execution of pharmaceutical CAPEX projects ranging from $10M $25M
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and resource coordination
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Validation, QA, Manufacturing, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Support site expansion and facility improvement initiatives within GMP‑regulated operations
  • Track project milestones, identify risks, and escalation issues as needed
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, quality, and regulatory standards throughout project execution
  • Drive cross‑functional communication and stakeholder alignment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational and project efficiency
Required Qualifications
  • 5 10+ years of Project Management experience within pharmaceutical or GMP‑regulated environments
  • Proven experience managing mid‑to‑large scale CAPEX projects ($10M $25M)
  • Strong understanding of GMP manufacturing operations and regulatory requirements
  • Experience managing project timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Self‑driven individual with the ability to work independently and drive projects forward
