Adecco is currently hiring a Quality Technician for a leading manufacturing client in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will work alongside Quality Engineers, Supplier Quality Engineers, and Production teams to improve product quality, drive continuous improvement, and support a high-performing quality system.

Perform in-process and final inspections on units prior to shipment
Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with procedures, standards, and specifications
Collect, track, and report Quality KPIs and metrics to support process improvement
Support implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)
Process and document non-conforming materials (NCRs)
Partner with Supplier Quality Engineers to resolve supplier-related quality issues
Collaborate with Production teams to correct defects and prevent recurrence
Communicate effectively with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve:
Drawing discrepancies
Bill of Materials (BOM) issues
Material variances
Create and distribute Quality Alerts for recurring or widespread issues
Perform incoming material inspections as needed
Work closely with Test teams to identify and communicate non-conformities
Train production and operations staff on quality standards and best practices
Lead or support documentation of processes and implementation of quality controls
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Root Cause Analysis, Lean, process improvements)
2–5 years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
Experience with:
Quality inspections (in-process and final)
Non-conformance handling (NCRs)
Quality audits and documentation
Electrical manufacturing or product experience preferred
Strong understanding of quality systems, processes, and continuous improvement
Knowledge of:
Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Ability to read and interpret:
Engineering drawings
BOMs (Bill of Materials)
Work instructions and specifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality reporting tools
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Team-oriented with a proactive approach to improvement
Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
