Overview

National Inspection & Consultants (NIC), an Element Company, is currently seeking qualified Level II MT/PT/VT Technicians for a long-term, ongoing assignment in the Virginia Beach, VA area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable project supporting critical naval programs with long-term work potential.

• Industry: Naval Shipbuilding & Repair

• Perform Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), and Visual Testing (VT) inspections on structural welds and related components.
• Conduct inspections in accordance with NAVSEA procedures, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain required records.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and quality standards.

• Current or previous Level II MT/PT/VT certification in accordance with SNT-TC-1A or equivalent.
• Documented classroom training and OJT experience hours available for review.
• Experience performing weld inspections.
• Ability to meet shipyard badging and access requirements.
• NAVSEA Or Shipyard Experience Is Highly Preferred.
