We are searching for a Quality Technician to join our quality management team in Richmond, VA. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with the production team to ensure that our products meet all quality standards, including ISO 9001.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet specified standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and tests, document any defects or issues found, and correct them.
- Monitor the production process to identify any deviations from quality standards and suggest improvements.
- Provide training to production staff on quality measures and proper equipment usage.
- Support quality audits and compile reports on quality and process-related issues.
- Manage time and projects using personal skills and software.
- Collaborate with other employees to create the best solutions.
- Work with the Production team to ensure solutions are tested and completed correctly.
- Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong time management skills, urgency, and aptitude for effectively prioritizing tasks within multiple projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively, present, and influence credibly at all levels.
- Able to investigate root causes and suggest workable solutions.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with inspection tools, hand tools, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
