Quality Technician (Richmond, VA)

We are searching for a Quality Technician to join our quality management team in Richmond, VA. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with the production team to ensure that our products meet all quality standards, including ISO 9001.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet specified standards and customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and tests, document any defects or issues found, and correct them.
  • Monitor the production process to identify any deviations from quality standards and suggest improvements.
  • Provide training to production staff on quality measures and proper equipment usage.
  • Support quality audits and compile reports on quality and process-related issues.
  • Manage time and projects using personal skills and software.
  • Collaborate with other employees to create the best solutions.
  • Work with the Production team to ensure solutions are tested and completed correctly.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong time management skills, urgency, and aptitude for effectively prioritizing tasks within multiple projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, present, and influence credibly at all levels.
  • Able to investigate root causes and suggest workable solutions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with inspection tools, hand tools, and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
