- Collect and process donor samples for processing and testing
- Record product and sample weights
- Label samples and freeze units within the required timeframe
- Pack units for final shipment
- Pack samples and prepare shipping boxes for the testing laboratory
- Monitor stored products
- Report equipment working conditions
- Maintain accurate donor files
- Support shipping and inventory control
- Maintain active communication and quality
- Superior customer service standards
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Great organizational, computer, and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable being exposed to extreme temperatures
- Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to listen to and understand information presented through spoken words and sentences
- Ability to work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids and potentially infectious organisms
- Ability to use required personal protective equipment
- Ability to stand for 4 to 6 hours per day
- Ability to bend and twist neck and waist for 1-2 hours per day
- Frequent hand, finger, wrist, and foot movement; ability to make precise coordinated movements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Hearing acuity essential
- Correctable near and far vision requirements and color perception/discrimination
- Ability to perform work in extreme cold below 32°F
Demonstrates strong organizational and troubleshooting skills while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with safety standards in a plasma center environment. Capable of effectively communicating and providing superior customer service while managing donor samples and shipping processes.
