The Department of Chemistry at Virginia Commonwealth University(VCU) is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Postdoctoral Researcher to join a multidisciplinary research team. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative research at theintersection of native top-down proteomics, structural biology, andestrogen receptor biology.
The Postdoctoral Researcher will conduct independent and collaborative research focused on advancing the understanding ofprotein structure, function, interactions, and regulation. The position will involve the application of advanced proteomic and structural biology approaches to investigate estrogen receptorbiology and related molecular mechanisms.
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible postdoctoral appointment at Virginia Commonwealth University. The successful candidate willhave the opportunity to work in a collaborative research environment and develop advanced expertise in proteomics,structural biology, and estrogen receptor research.
The position is contingent upon the availability of funding and maybe renewed based on performance, research needs, and continuedfunding availability.

Duties & Responsibilities:The successful candidate will work closely with faculty, researchscientists, students, and collaborators; design and executeexperiments; analyze and interpret complex datasets; disseminateresearch findings through publications and presentations; and contribute to future research projects and funding proposals.
Qualifications:Qualified applicants will hold a PhD in Chemistry or Biology.
Applicants must also have experience applying advanced proteomicand structural biology approaches to investigate estrogen receptorbiology and related molecular mechanisms.
$58,000 - $60,000
